BDM / Account Manager - new business

SoCre8ive is a boutique digital media agency designed to bring about satisfied clients wanting to get socially creative.  Clients can learn anything from online video, email campaigns, social media or how to use the iPad for business.

We are mainly a word of mouth and referral business and we are looking to expand our reach and need a business development manager to join our team and help us achieve that goal.

Position Overview

Your 2 primary responsibilities will be to 

  1. Develop and manage leads through existing lead channels 
  2. Business development - developing new lead sources and identifying opportunities to acquire new business. 

Key Responsibilities – Managing Leads

  • Developing warm leads
  • Meeting with prospects
  • Demonstrating the value of our products and services
  • Proposal writing and responding to tenders
  • 
Presenting or pitching our solution
  • Closing business on warm leads
  • Managing the sales process in our CRM
  • Reporting on progress and monitoring KPIs
  • Manage and grow prospective clients to prosperous accounts
  • Nurture strong relationships with clients
  • Conduct webinars to demonstrate solutions to justify ROI
  • Participate in strategic and tactical planning for the organisation
  • Use your creativity to develop compelling value propositions with prospects
  • Manage sales pipeline with accurate forecasting and reporting
  • Actively contribute to a fast paced, value oriented sales culture

 

Other Responsibilities – Developing new Business

An exciting opportunity exists for a switched-on, savvy and dedicated Digital Marketing Specialist to join our successful yet rapidly growing digital marketing business.

 Due to significant growth, we're looking to employ a digital specialist to take control and spearhead the digital marketing direction for our organisation.  Skill set to include SEO & SEM, social media, blogging and email marketing.

The role is hands on and the successful applicant will be responsible for all digital marketing initiatives from creation to monitoring, analysis and reporting.

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Passionate about everything digital and willing to grow with this evolving role
  • Highly experienced in digital marketing - effective website design, social media, blogging, copy writing, eCommerce, email marketing design, SEO and SEM
  • Constantly keeping abreast of emerging digital marketing techniques and strategies
  • Able to create and manage clear campaigns plans including implementation schedules and budgets
  • Able to demonstrate proven success and ROI for all campaigns
  • Experienced in using Google Adwords, Google Analytics, SEO software (e.g. SEOMoz), Website Content Management Systems, email marketing software (e.g. Interspire), Adobe Creative Suite and customer relationship management (CRM) software.
  • Insights driven and analytical without losing sight of the commercial and strategic 'bigger picture'
  • Constantly challenging tradition and creating new opportunities for the business
  • Able to understand the technical aspects of digital & its implementation
  • Able to work with and influence a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders

 

To secure this unique opportunity, you must have several years of demonstrable experience (as evidence by your portfolio of work) as a digital generalist. Previous B2B, HR, Recruitment and/or professional services experience will be highly regarded.
